چکیده

Order-preserving encryption (OPE) is a cryptographic primitive that preserves the order of plaintexts. In past few years, many OPE schemes were proposed to solve problem executing range queries in encrypted databases. However, leaks some certain information (for example, ciphertext), so it vulnerable attacks. Subsequently, order-revealing (ORE) was by Boneh et al. (Eurocrypt 2015) as generalization order-preserving encryption. It breaks through limitation numeric plaintext. implements ciphertext comparison for any specific form plaintext publicly computable function. this article, we aim design new ORE scheme which reduces leakages and practicality terms length time. We first propose hybrid model named xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">HybridORE . Then, an improved xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">EncodeORE achieves acceptable security appropriate length. They both explore encode strategy encoding into different parts apply suitable algorithms each part according its characteristics reduce leakages. Reducing the Leakage in Practical Order-Revealing Encryption

We study practical order-revealing encryption (ORE) with a well-defined leakage profile (the information revealed about the plaintexts from their ciphertexts), a direction recently initiated by Chenette, Lewi, Weis, and Wu (CLWW). ORE, which allows public comparison of plaintext order via their ciphertexts, is a useful tool in the design of secure outsourced database systems. We first show a ge...

Practical Order-Revealing Encryption with Limited Leakage

In an order-preserving encryption scheme, the encryption algorithm produces ciphertexts that preserve the order of their plaintexts. Order-preserving encryption schemes have been studied intensely in the last decade, and yet not much is known about the security of these schemes. Very recently, Boneh et al. (Eurocrypt 2015) introduced a generalization of order-preserving encryption, called order...

Order-Preserving Symmetric Encryption

We initiate the cryptographic study of order-preserving symmetric encryption (OPE), a primitive suggested in the database community by Agrawal et al. (SIGMOD ’04) for allowing efficient range queries on encrypted data. Interestingly, we first show that a straightforward relaxation of standard security notions for encryption such as indistinguishability against chosen-plaintext attack (IND-CPA) ...

Semi-order preserving encryption

Order preserving encryption (OPE) is a kind of encryption designed to support searches on ciphertexts. OPE encrypts plaintexts to ciphertexts with the same order, making it possible to efficiently compare ciphertexts without decryption. Because of its efficiency, OPE has been used in systems aimed at practical use. However, even though many OPE schemes have been proposed, all suffer from securi...

A Note for the Ideal Order-Preserving Encryption Object and Generalized Order-Preserving Encryption

Order-preserving encryption (OPE) preserves the order of data in their ciphertexts and, hence, allows range search on the encrypted data without needing to decrypt them. Security analysis of OPE schemes is very important because OPE is not a perfect encryption algorithm (the ciphertexts leak the ordering information of the plaintexts). Most of the existing security analysis for the OPE schemes ...
